March Newsletter

March 10th, 2009

Dear Parents,

Can you believe the 3rd quarter is almost over?? It ends on Friday, March 20th. This school year has passed by so fast! I must say that I see so much growth and development in each and every one of my students. With the learning of so many new concepts, the students have really taken their time and have been practicing at home. I thank all the parents very much for working with your child. Although they receive extra help in school, the reinforcement at home is very beneficial to their success. Remember to listen to your child read every night. This will help them develop into a more fluent reader.

There will be school on Monday, April 13th. On our school calendar it states not in session. Due to our many snow days we will use this day as an attendance day. Then there will be only two days to add at the end of the year.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break and if you are traveling anywhere, have a safe trip!! Either way, I hope the weather warms up and am looking forward to many great adventures coming up in the final quarter of the school year!!

Take Care,

Miss Christl

    About Ms. Christl
I have been here at Pennoyer since 2001 and I feel that my personal teaching philosophy is reflected by how I teach. It is so important to be able to address the needs of all the students in my class. Through various activities and hands-on learning, I know that each student can succeed. I also feel that parent communication is key. The consistent communication keeps a strong partnership and support for the child. By working together as a team, we will provide a building block for your child's future. It has been a pleasure working with all of you and again, please do not hesitate to contact me about any questions or feedback you have.
